I hope I didn't pick up this link from this website!  Somehow or other I found this site livemocha.com.  It has free language lessons, somewhat similar to rosetta stone.  The best part is that you can practice writing in Greek and native Greek speakers can analyze what you wrote and give you advice/corrections.  If you have a proper microphone I think you can record yourself reading/speaking in Greek and get ratings and tips from native speakers.  I thought it was interesting.

Hello, Renee.
I've been logged on to the LiveMocha website now for about three days (with a few breaks, of course!!).  It is actually quite good.  Even their suggested charge-free basic excercises, e.g. cardinal numbers, dates, days of the week, etc are valuable as practice and you can hear a native greek speaker saying the words, so you get the pronunciation correct.  Best of all is the feedback you receive from other "teachers" after you post a short written article and they review your submission.  The advice is top-notch and even if you have fallen foul of every learner mistake ever invented, they still tell you to "keep it up".
I have not got a microphone, but am considering getting one because, as you say, you can record yourself and then other people will rate your speech.  I have assessed a few people writing and speaking english, acting as a teacher.  The website says that soon they will introduce a credit scheme where you earn credits according to how much teaching you do. Those credits can be used to go some way towards purchasing the chargeable lessons.  Not sure how much the lessons will be, but I have to complete all the free ones first before I can progress to the next step.
Thanks for recommending it!

I've also been on LiveMocha for about 3 days and find it very interesting.  I've started with the intermediate lessons and finished the first of those.  I haven't yet posted any writing.  Right now, I'm still just "finding my way" around the site to see what all it offers.  It's a good change from my regular lessons at kypros.org.  Thanks for providing the link.

I have been using Live Mocha for a number of months now and have found it very useful.  Once the courses are completed there are extra practice texts for either written or spoken Greek.  At the moment the courses go up to intermediate level.  It is possible to have chat message with fellow students or in fact if you have a microphone and/or webcam you can converse this way.  I think some people may use it simply as a chat site but you can choose who you wish to converse with. I usually look at what their imput is and whether they are in fact there to learn/help with a language .  You will find some people have been registered for a long while and haven't started any of thecourses.  It is good to have help from native speakers but also from those like yourself, trying to learn a new language.  It is also good to be able to help students from around the world to learn English.
It can be somtimes quite slow  to connect but is worth a look.
